Gratitude is not just something we feel—it’s something we live.
It’s in our breath, in our conversations, and in the moments that take us by surprise.
A few years ago, we met a soul named Rea.
It was an ordinary day. We were at a local park in Toronto, just being present and enjoying the stillness of nature. The sun peeked through the trees, and there was a gentle breeze—a perfect moment to simply exist.
Then something beautiful happened.
Rea came over and said hello. Just like that, a new connection was made. There was no agenda, no plan. Just presence. We talked, shared, and opened our hearts to one another.
Rea is from Israel and was just visiting the area at the time. He told us about the changes unfolding in his life—his relationship, his love for writing, and how he was navigating it all. He didn’t hold back. His openness created a sacred space between us, a reminder that when we meet soul to soul, even strangers can feel like family.
We laughed, too.
At one point, we asked Rea to show us his happy pose—and without hesitation, he started dancing! The joy in his movement brought such a lightness to our hearts. It was playful, raw, and full of spirit. That moment, right there in the park, was magic. Not because it was planned, but because it was real.
And that’s what Discovered Souls is all about.
Moments like these.
Connections like these.
Souls like his.
The mission began with a simple idea: what would the world look like if 10,000 souls paused each day to give thanks?
What if gratitude wasn’t just a feeling—but a movement?
What if we could spread stories of gratitude across cultures, languages, and countries—uniting people by the one thing we all share: a beating heart and a longing to feel connected?
Rea reminded us of this vision.
He reminded us that our impact can cross oceans, that a soul from Israel can walk into a park in Toronto and change the trajectory of our lives. Not by doing something extraordinary, but simply by being. By being open, present, and real.
We’re here to say thank you, Rea.
Thank you for showing up that day.
Thank you for sharing your heart.
Thank you for dancing like joy was your natural language.
And thank you for being a part of this global tapestry of love and gratitude.
We hope you’re still writing.
Still dancing.
Still following the passion that lit your eyes when you spoke to us.
This moment with Rea reminds us that connection is sacred.
It doesn’t need to be long or perfect—it just needs to be real.
There are thousands of souls out there, just like Rea, who have crossed our paths, whether in person, online, or through a shared intention to live in gratitude. We honor you. We are grateful for you. And we believe that together, we are creating a ripple of love that the world deeply needs.
Who are the souls you’ve met—even for a moment—that touched your heart and reminded you of what matters most?
Whose dance made you smile?
Whose words encouraged you to keep going?
We’d love to hear your story.
Reply in the comments or message us directly. Let’s continue to light the world with the stories of gratitude, love, and connection.
Together, we are building the 10,000 Grateful Souls movement.
Not with grand gestures.
But with real people, real hearts, and real gratitude.
Thank you for being part of it.
Thank you for being you.
With love and gratitude,
Alex and Sackeria Dezan
